Tanita Corporation of America recently exhibited our professional body composition analyzers at the 2018 Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) world conference in Las Vegas, NV. Nearly 5,000 physicians and healthcare practitioners attend this annual event fostering collaboration and cooperation with technologies, laboratory services, medical devices, and a host of other products that can provide practitioners with multiple ways to best optimize their respective practices.
A4M is dedicated to the advancement of tools, technology, and transformations in healthcare that can detect, treat, and prevent diseases associated with aging. A4M further promotes the research of practices and protocols that have the potential to optimize the human aging process. They are also dedicated to educating healthcare professionals and practitioners, scientists, and members of the public on biomedical sciences, breakthrough technologies, and medical protocols through their advanced education entity: Metabolic Medical Institute (MMI).
A4M does not focus on traditional, general medical education, but rather on the advancements of preventative and anti-aging medicine, which entails and encompasses multiple terms: integrative medicine, preventive medicine, functional medicine, nutritional medicine, regenerative medicine. In this regard, the use of a body composition analyzer in place of a traditional weight scale is a valuable addition to a practitioners development of holistic health and wellness programs for their patients.
Tanita exhibited the very latest in single-frequency, dual-frequency, and multi-frequency bioelectric impedance analyzers (BIA). We also had both 4-elctrode and 8-elctrode units on display, providing the most options on this technology for the attendees to experience. During the exposition Tanita offered free body composition testing for all attendees, demonstrating both the benefit of this process as well as the ease of use.
