Tanita's WB-3000 digital physician's mdoel is ideally suited for various professional markets (including medical and fitness), and remains the perfect replacement for the old mechanical balance beam scale. The model features an automatic body mass index (BMI) calculation and an oversized low profile platform.  Instant on, no button to push, simply stand on the platform to activate.

The incredibly durable, yet portable, unit can be easily broken down into three modules - the display, the platform (which houses the load cell), and the pillar - and is equipped with casters for easy mobility. The WB-3000 physician model also features a mechanical height rod, allowing patients height to be taken the same time as weight. The portability and modularity really separate the WB-3000, and provides a much better option than standard beam models. The WB-3000 represents a true professional grade model for years of uninterrupted operation.

EMR ready with both an RS-232 and USB output.  When used with Tanita HealthWare® Software (sold separately) data from the WB-3000 can be stored on PC to provide custom recording, tracking, and analysis for an unlimited number of users.
