Using the latest in ultra-low power radio wireless ANT+™, the FitScan BC-1100F by Tanita will communicate to a wide range of remote displays including your personal computer transmitting weight, body fat%, body water%, and muscle mass. The BC-1100F employs an "open" protocol format, making it a great choice for programmers and those looking to create a radio wireless fitness or health platform.
The BC-1100F is designed to connect to your Windows personal computer running the free Healthy Edge Lite Software (limited to 8 users) and other compatible hardware and software using the ANT+ protocol to record, graph, and analyze data on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis. Upgrade to Healthy Edge Plus software for unlimited users. You can also use the BC-1100F with an iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch with the optional Tanita Wi-Fi Network Adapter (sold separately) and the free Tanita HealthyEdge Mobile app. As well as communicate with select Garmin Fitness devices and other optional Tanita accessories.
The BC-1100F scale platform features no visible display, as readings are automatically transmitted to a remote display. This dynamic feature -the first of its kind- will allow for private readings and is perfect for anyone who wants to keep their health and fitness levels private. The BC-1100F has a weight capacity of 440 pounds, comes packaged with Healthy Edge Lite Software, a USB Ant+ Stick and operates for greater than 1 year on four AA batteries (included).
