BF-684W Body Fat / Body Water Monitor - Multi-Frequency

The BF-684W uses multi-frequency Bioelectric Impedance Analysis (BIA), a clinically validated FDA cleared method of determining body fat. BIA sends a low current through the body, it passes freely through the fluids contained in muscle tissue and in blood, but encounters difficulty when passing through fat tissue, which contains little water.
